Mary Daniel’s started seeking her fortune in 1959 by moving to California with her new husband Shelton Daniel, about 110 years after the original gold rush.  Mary Daniel’s started seeking her fortune in 1959 by moving to California with her new husband Shelton Daniel, about 90 years after the original gold rush.  Three years (and two children) later, they returned to the Springhill area to continue the search.  Mary is a devout Catholic, with two of her grandparents immigrating form Poland.  “Go Lumberjacks!” can still be heard from Mary on occasion as she is a staunch supporter of her high school, and the Springhill area in general.  She loves older movies, the Hallmark Channel, Fox News, Wheel of Fortune, and did we mention her gardening?  Mary loves to spend time outside.  She really enjoys greeting and helping people with their unique needs.  She is good at helping as she has tons of experience from managing both Sears and Western Auto stores here in Springhill.  Mary has always had a hearing problem from her earliest years.  That benefits the staff here, as we can always sneak up on Mary if we’re pulling a prank.  She loves to laugh, and we enjoy laughing with her.  As she says, “Smiles are free!  Turn Burdens into Blessings!”
